Opportunities for Lent

Kingston offers many ways to reflect and appreciate the Lenten Season, whether it be worship, meditation, or social. No matter what your path is,
we hope you will join our community for these events.

Soup with Love, Every Wednesday in March at noon
Join us for a Lenten Service followed by a delicious meal of soups and bread made by Kingston Parish women.  Donations will benefit Mathews County.      Speaker link here

Lenten Quiet Day, March 11 at Kingston Parish House
A quiet time for reflection from 9 am till noon.  We will have three short reflections on how we might be still and know God.  Each will be followed by about 40 minutes to meditate, pray write, paint, walk. It is a time for healing or a good discipline for your lenten journey or life in general.

Walk the Labyrinth
A walk on this sacred path offers an opportunity for prayer, contemplation, and self-reflection. During Lent, a labyrinth walk can be a simulated wandering in the wilderness. Weekly meditations, placed in the mailbox next to the labyrinth's entrance, are available to guide you in this spiritual practice.
